With great pleasure, we would like to announce that the social initiative of Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) with the technical collaboration of Nepal Mountaineering Instructor Associationl and the financial support from The Juniper Fund, USA, had been successfully completed Introductory Rock Climbing Course (IRCC) and Basic Mountain Rescue Course (BMRC) at Kathmandu. The courses were conducted from 25th Nov. to 1st Dec 2021.
Mr. Lhakpa Rangdu Sherpa (IRCC) and Mr. Hareram Khadka (BMRC) were appointed as Education Chief for the Courses where Mr. Lam Babu Sherpa, Mr. Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa, Mr. Pasang Kaji Sherpa, Mr. Pemba Rita Sherpa, Mr. Tsering Pemba Sherpa, Mr. Chhiring Sonam Lama, Mr. Abiral Rai and Mr. Lopsang Sherpa were given their valuable involvement as Course Facilitator. Ms. Dawa Yangzum Sherpa coordinated the course.
After the completion of the course, Nepalese Mountaineering community gets 40 trained mountaineering professionals.
