Those interested in becoming Nepal National Mountain Guides can also join the National Skill Testing Board to qualify for the occupation skill test. They are put in level 4 of the occupation skill test. A mountain guide in Nepal is a professional whose competence has been certified by NNMGA. He is capable of taking and instructing any person in a secure, responsible and autonomous manner for activities specific to the profession.
