Today, His Excellency, French Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Gilles BOURBAO, has visited Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) office.
His Excellency Mr. Bourbao was warmly received by NNMGA president Mr. Ang Norbu Sherpa, Vice President Mr. Tshering Pande Bhote, General Secretary Mr. Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa, Treasurer Mr. Hareram Khadka, Technical committee Convener Mr. Narendra Shahi along with other NNMGA members.
During the visit a short but fruitful discussion was conducted where the brief introduction about NNMGA, its achievements, its members and the present scenario of mountain guides were presented to His Excellency and His Excellency has expressed his keen interest to support Nepalese IFMGA certified Mountain Guides.
His Excellency Mr. Bourbao also expressed his gratitude to the search and rescue team of NNMGA mountain Guides who recently search out three French mountaineers body after they were missing in an avalanche at Khumbu.
