For the first time, the IFMGA’s general assembly was held in Nepal. The gathering drew mountain guides from twenty-five different countries. The NNMGA’s transitional period ended in 2017. The supervision terminated when IFMGA was satisfied that NNMGA’s training fulfilled the requisite criteria.
