The Intermediate Mountaineering Course (IMC) is designed for non-Nepali aspiring mountain guides, primarily from Asia, to start their journey of becoming an IFMGA guide. The main objective of this course is to help the non-Nepali alpine enthusiasts to prepare for NNMGA’s Aspirant Guide Entrance exam. Those who successfully complete IMC component I and II will then be able to join further climbing activities. These include climbing four 6000m peaks and one 7,000 m peak or Mount Ama Dablam. This course takes place under the supervision of Nepali IFMGA guides. Once the participants clear these two modules, they can appear in the Aspirant Guide entrance exam.
